Hooray! Bozo Boris Is Going to Resign!

I’m just hearing this on the news. At last! But they don’t know what form the resignation will take.

He should never have been there in the first place, totally unsuitable for PM. The British public are gullible morons who deserve what they get. Boris will only be replaced by some other Tory git. Meanwhile Putin will be laughing his little dictator’s socks off at the West in disarray.

  Well, not yet, according to current state of play. I don’t think the UK is THE West though. Just a small part of it

Amen to that. Except he won’t resign with dignity like his predecessor. Unfortunately, his successor will be yet another Tory.

Agree with all that. Unfortunately, whoever replaces him will be another Tory, and could even be much worse. As for the British people being gullible fools, there have been whole books written by people like Noam Chomsky on how the elite get ordinary people to vote against their interests.

  I wonder who our favourite ‘Tube historian would like to see Bozo replaced by? Possibly Kemi Badenoch, although I suspect he would rather Philip Davies were PM (God help us!)

  Boris Johnson deliberately marketed himself as an affable clown, beginning with regular appearances on HIGNFY, with his barmy wild hair and tongue-in-cheek stammering/waffling to evade but simultaneously imply an obvious answer. People fell for it, he got the Mayor job and the rest is history. And then people were fooled again by Brexit, and by the anti-Corbyn/anti-Socialist smear campaign by all and sundry, “Russian hats” and all the rest of it. Gullible. And now we’re stuck between Tories and Starmer.

    I’d also add that they’re going to be misled by Tory stuff about Critical Race Theory, immigration and the trans issue. There are genuine problems with these issues, but they’re going to be played up as a far left threat to keep the narrative going that somehow, despite the all the evidence to the contrary, communism is on the rise and only the Republicans in America and Conservatives over here can stop it corrupting our children.
