The Independent has also run this story, Vote Ukip, says far-right group Britain First, reporting that the Fuehrer of Britain First, Paul Golding, has urged his mighty legions of stormtroopers to vote for the Kippers. The Indie’s article states that Golding’s message is repeated in leaflets and letters produced by Islamophobic party. It states that Golding claims that the groups own activities in ‘Muslim ghettoes’ and ‘major UKIP gains’ will become a ‘game changer’ to turn 2015 into the year of Britain First and UKIP, leading to a ‘resurgence of British patriotism’.
The Indie’s article states that the party has its origins in anti-abortion campaigns and Ulster nationalism. It has been responsible for organising ‘Christian patrols’, supposedly to counter the ‘Muslim patrol’ set up by Islamic radicals to harass drinkers and gay people in parts of London. They have also invaded mosques to hand out Bibles to worshippers.
Farage has denounced extreme Right-wing parties, like Britain First, and the offers to support him and the Kippers. The article says
A Ukip spokesman said it was not embarrassing but farcical that Britain First was supporting them. “We’re just not where they think we are,” he said. “On the fringes of our politics are nutters and we don’t want them anywhere near us.”
Golding for Britain First stated that he knew why Farage wanted to distance himself and his party from them, and urged them to ignore the blather and vote for the Kippers.

The anti-Kipper site, SlatUKIP, has posted this piece showing that Paul Golding has urged his squadristi to hunt down and publish the names and addresses of the protestors who turned up at the Purple Duce’s pub in Downe at the weekend.
This is an old tactic used by the Far Right for decades. They tried it against a women’s rights organisation in Brighton back in the 1970s, but mysteriously stopped when the local Socialists and Trades Union newsletter started publishing their names and addresses.
As for the ‘Christian Patrols’ and mosque invasions, Hope Not Hate has pointed out that very few, if any, of Britain First’s members ever actually go to church. Instead, they show their deep Christian piety by getting drunk and urinating against church walls.
They look pretty much like the same old bunch of Neo-Nazis, who are just using a veneer of Christian piety and Islamophobia to disguise their simple, old-fashioned racism. The Indie’s article on them notes that they stand or ‘assisted repatriation’ and sending convicted foreign criminals back to their countries of origin without recourse to the court.
As for the Kippers claiming that they ‘are not where’ Britain First think they are, unfortunately a series of racist and fanatically intolerant and Islamophobic comments by their members, from the Purple Duce downwards, show that this is very much where they are.
