Let’s Laugh at the Witch Hunter’s Stupidity

I believe in using humour and satire as a weapon. What all bigots and tyrants fear is being lampooned and laughed at, often far more than the sober discussion and analysis of their failings. During the War Hitler had the British cartoonist David Low on his hit list if he conquered us for the way he had sent up and parodied the Nazi leader. Way back in the 18th century Charles James Fox believed that a cartoon portraying him as the Indian nabob, Carlo Khan, had lost him an election. And when Thatcher was in power the Tories hated the way the Leaderene and they were spoofed on Spitting Image.

As I said in my last post, Leftworks has shown just how illiterate at least one of the accusations against me is. I’m supposed to be an anti-Semite because I quote the Jewish adage, ‘Two Jews, three opinions’. This is despite the fact that it’s the title of at least two books by Jewish authors, one a book of quotations. There are questions to be asked of the witch hunters here, and one of them is the following.

Q. Mr Starmer, is it true that David Evans and those accusing innocent people of being anti-Semites are of abnormally low intelligence?

A. I’m sorry, I do not understand the question.

Let’s laugh at these bullies’ stupidity and pomposity, and show we’re not afraid of them.
