Secular Talk on Ad against Trump’s Sneering at the Disabled

This is another interesting piece from Secular Talk about the continuing presidential campaigning in America. In this clip, Kyle Kulinski discusses an ad against Trump put out by Hillary Clinton’s PAC attacking the bouffant buffoon for his sneering attitude to the disabled. Trump mocked a journo, who interviewed him and who suffers from a condition in which he could not control his arms. I think the journo asked Trump an awkward question, so Trump went on the highly offence, sneering at the man and imitating the poor guy’s convulsive arm movements. The video rightly takes the New York Nazi to task for this. It features the parents of a little girl with Spina Bifida, talking about their love for their daughter and their disgust with Trump and his sneers. They state that the other pupils at the school their daughter attends know better than to mock her.

Kulinski, however, feels that this is too soft for a real attack on Trump. He feels that what’s needed isn’t to point out that Trump’s a moron, but to show he’s also a massive terrorist. To show, in Kulinski’s words, that he would nuke Bangladesh for no reason. Kulinski feels that if you’re going to win against Trump, you need to run adverts attacking him for his support for killing the families of terrorists, for torture, his statement that the Geneva Convention is the problem, things that even Republican generals would back away from. He believes that this would have far more of an effect on a bigger number of voters, than simply pointing out that he has a nasty, stupid attitude to the disabled.
Here’s the clip:

Kulinski has a point, but I also feel the advert has some merit, as he himself said he felt initially, in attacking Trump for his vile attitude to the handicapped. And I don’t think it’s necessary a case of either/or. I’m hoping it will be a case of both…and… On the other hand, Shrillary herself is extremely hawkish. She has shown herself an unrestrained Neocon with all their enthusiasm for invading countries, and bombing and killing civilians in the name of the US and its corporate interests. It may be that the reason she’s not going to criticise Trump for his own vicious willingness to prosecute America’s wars with the utmost savagery is because she’s just as savage as he is.
