Cameron in tax clampdown on self-employed: while letting big business off the hook

So many Brits were taken in by Thatcher’s claim to be working class, because she supposedly came from a small business background. In reality she despised the working class as untrustworthy and treacherous. And clearly, despite all her rhetoric of standing up for the ‘s-s-small businessman’, in the stuttered syllables of Arkwright, the Tories despise them too. It’s been a national scandal since Major’s time that big business has made it’s money by delaying payment to their smaller contractors. The Tories were asked to do something about this too, but refused. Why? Because they are the party of the big contractors. One Tory MP said that by delaying payments to his suppliers was the way he built his business up.

The Tories and big business are parasites on society and on the economy. I wonder how long the economic sickness they spread will last before it becomes chronic and obviously disastrous.

Pride's Purge

David Cameron tax

The Tories are clamping down on struggling small businesses and the self-employed …

Scrap plans forcing self employed & small business to do 4 tax returns yearly

… while letting big corporations off the hook for billions …

Tax fraud costs staggering £16 BILLION a year – enough to halt welfare cuts

The Tories are not the party of business as they like to claim. They’re the party of big corporate business. Many of whom like to donate to Tory Party coffers.

Purely coincidental of course …

Didn’t you once warn people who were being forced into self-employment that this would happen? It is a very very cruel joke!!! And then today I saw about prince William, supposedly struggling financially at university!!! It made me want to throw up!!!!!

I have, though I can’t take the credit for the warning, as it came from people with a better grasp of economics than me. I reblogged it from some of the other great sites, who were very much more aware about the consequences of the Tories forcing people into self-employment.

As for Prince Williams struggling financially at university, I find that very hard to believe, though it might be possible. My mum told me that when she was training to be a teacher, the girls she knew who had the most problems with money were the children of the rich. Their parents simply had no idea about how desperate it can be without cash, and so simply didn’t bother to send their children money as promptly as the parents from less prosperous backgrounds. It may be that Brenda, Lugs and co. have the same attitude, and were rather tardy getting the money through to Wills.

On the other hand, given the revelations of massive overspending by the royal family, and the way they expect the taxpayer to pick up the bill for their profligacy, it wouldn’t surprise me if Wills simply had done likewise. He’d probably spent cash like it was going out of fashion, in the confident expectation that more was going to come his way courtesy of Joe and Jo Public.

Yes but then again most rich people don’t have minders or bodyguards, who might step in to help should they need to, I can’t see why they wouldn’t. I just found the program to be very insulting!! especially for those who have tried so hard all their lives and still have nothing!!!

I hope you don’t mind me saying, that thanks to some advice from you and a few others I have now got a firm of lawyers working for me, on a no win no fee basis, to make a claim against the social services and the police, for the horrific abuse I went through and ignoring my needs! I went through what 16-18 are going through now, I was kicked out of care, (where I had been since I was 4yrs) and left to starve to death. The ironic thing is I was participating fully on YTS’s at the time.

Thank you so much Beast!!! and I wish you hope for the new year!!!!

Thank you so much for that really great comment, Joanna. I’m glad that some of the advice I’ve posted up here has been able to help you. And I wish you the very best of luck in your action against the police and social services.

May you also have a very merry Christmas, and a very happy New Year!
