Another Farage U-Turn: UKIP to Form Pact with Tories?

Looking through today’s posts on the SlatUKIP Facebook page, it seems the Kipper Caudillo is in the Sunday Torygraph, announcing that he is willing to make a pact with the Tories. See https://www.facebook.com/SLATUKIPThree/photos/a.324137271065346.1073741828.324019817743758/665660120246391/?type=1&theater It’s also posted at the MSN News at http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/revealed-nigel-farages-offer-to-support-a-minority-conservative-government/ar-AA9N2kq?li=AA9anWg&ocid=OIE9HP. He has, however, made the offer on condition that the Tories hold referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU before Christmas.

This is another U-turn from the man, who said that he wouldn’t form a coalition with Cameron. Now it seems that with Kipper support falling off and the prospect of another hung parliament looming, Duce Nige is making a Lib Dem-like bid for power, promising to support the Tories in a minority government.

He hasn’t said anything about tuition fees, though.

he has, however, made noises about preserving the NHS, while at the same advocating its privatisation.

And Cameron certainly is privatising the NHS.

So be warned. If you vote UKIP, you’ll get not just them, but also the Conservatives. Though as the Kippers are merely the Conservatives on steroids, it’ll be just like a party reunification.

Don’t vote for either.

Perhaps a lot of people are regaining some of their senses and shaking off the fog that is UKIP – The tories would have to be pretty desperate to join forces with UKIP, even though most of UKIP are tories in the first place!

I think that’s the case, Jaypot. SlatUKIP recently put up a diagram from one of the political websites showing that the KIpper’s support has peaked, and is going down.

Mike touched on this on his blog, and pointed to the gruesome similarity between it and a piece on the 1987 Spitting Image election special. The SDP-Liberal Alliance had been predicting that there would be a last minute surge for them. This led to David Steele emerging from Owen’s pocket sputtering ‘I’m surging, David! I’m surging! Oh no! I surged too soon.’
